The Owl Pages is a commercially supported compendium that serves best as an in-depth resource for educators and their advanced students on any topic having to do with owls—their lifestyle, habitat, physiology, identification, rehabilitation, and more. This website is not designed or suited for direct classroom application of the information provided, but would augment lessons of a broad nature on birds of prey, or specific lessons on owls. Think of a comprehensive research paper on owls, written in an accessible way to a general audience, figure in beautiful photography and recorded territorial calls, and you have an approximate vision of The Owl Pages. Of course, being web based, it is so much more. Articles of related interest are linked to the site, such as stories of owl encounters and rehabilitation. Owl mythology and community events that interest owl watchers are posted as well. A link to pertinent books, toys, and artwork round out a site that any owl watcher would consider (ahem...) a hoot.
